New book covers for The Crown Princess and the Footman trilogy
When I worked on The Crown Princess and the Footman, I didn't think about the book cover at first. Sending the work to publishers and agencies was the priority. But sadly, it would take me months or years to get a result.
I found an aggregator service and decided to work with them. A book cover hadn't crossed my mind until then. To save time and get those books out there, I decided on a very plain book cover. The first novel that I have ever published looked like this:
I used a random image, wrote the title, then clicked publish. I thought it was all right until I moved on to my second book. The second book looked like this:
This one looks different, right? It's simple. No images. Just the title and author name. Not flashy, but people can understand it.
To save more time in publishing my last book on the TCPATF series, I decided to be more consistent and use the same format, which is this one:
The third book for TCPATF is in the same style as the second. I was pretty proud of it, but the first book looks completely different. I decided to make the first book even. I changed the first book cover into this:
So, you can see that they are all similar now, right? But does it scream quality? I don't think so. I believe they deserve better covers for the whole story to be acknowledged. I want people to understand Elena and Frank. So, I created new book covers from book one to three. Here are the new covers:
These covers describe more about what the story tries to portray. What do you think? Let me know in the comments.
