MUSIC which inspired The Crown Princess and the Footman trilogy (part 2)

When I began writing my novel, music played a crucial role in fueling my inspiration. One of the most significant pieces in my playlist was "Ala" by Joep Beving. This instrumental composition, with its dainty, pure, and simple melody, perfectly captures the innocence, curiosity, and simplicity of youth, just like the main characters in my novel when they were children.

I saw the vivid images of carefree childhood days. The gentle piano notes painted scenes of the protagonists exploring the world with wide-eyed wonder, laughing and playing in by the pond and gardens. The music echoed the joy of discovering new things, the warmth of friendship, and the magic of seeing the world through the eyes of a child.

Ala guided me to reflect the innocence, curiosity, and joy of childhood. Its gentle flow inspired me to write with a sense of nostalgia and tenderness, capturing the essence of the characters' early years. It captured  the purity of youth and the simple pleasures that come with it, setting the tone for the early chapters of my novel.
