HISTORY which inspired The Crown Princess and the Footman trilogy (part 1)

One obvious one which heavily implied in the setting of TCPATF would be the British royalty. The setting primarily happened around 1945, which was the time Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom and other Commonwealth realms was in her twenties, married to Prince Phillip. The clothing of that era was simple, yet stylish. Cars and aeroplanes were popular. Radio and static television were trendy. Jazz was all over the place.
